Kota Kinabalu: A total of 174 individuals were conferred State Awards, Stars and Medals on Thursday by the Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.
In the ceremony held at the Dewan Istiadat Istana Seri Kinabalu, the Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu (PGDK) which carries the title “Datuk” was awarded to Political Secretary to the Sabah Umno Chief, Datuk Abdul Aziz Julkarnain and Kota Kinabalu High Court Judge Datuk Dr Lim Hock Heng.

A total of 16 others received the Ahli Setia Darjah Kinabalu (ASDK), among them is former RTM news anchor Datin Cusna Yusof @Yusoff and the Sabah Contingent Head of the Internal Security and Public Order Department, ACP Khalid Saison.
The conferment ceremony continued with 29 recipients of the Ahli Darjah Kinabalu (ADK), among them Jamilah Tukang, the Deputy Director of Development at the Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department (Jheains).

Juhar also awarded the Bintang Setia Kinabalu (BSK) to 43 recipients including Major Wazirudin Mahfot, Prison Superintendent Shamlin Mohd, Dr Ronald Yusri Batahong, Dr Israh Aripin and Khadijah Aswatie Adenan.
In addition, the ceremony graced by the presence of Juhar’s wife Toh Puan Norlidah R.M Jasni, also witnessed Abdul Mutalib Abdullah, a Senior Information Assistant at the Sabah Information Department, among the 63 individuals conferred the Bintang Kinabalu (BK), followed by the awarding of the Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji (PPT) to 21 recipients including Jainanl Naim, a Special Lower Public Assistant at the Sabah Information Department.
