SANDAKAN: Those who doubt the quality of the tap water in their respective residencies can bring samples to the Sandakan Water Department office for quality testing, said Karamunting Assemblyman Datuk George Hiew Vun Zin.
George said he became aware of the matter after meeting the Sandakan Water Department engineer, Alchemy Lobo October, recently.

“The Department welcomes residents to bring samples from their residential or business areas to test for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
“I understand the quality of water supplied from the Segaliud Water Treatment Plant is safe and meets the safety standards,” said George.
