Five relatives of Ulu Tiram police station attacker charged with inciting terrorism

In the May 17 incident, a 21-year-old man stormed into the police station in Ulu Tiram, Johor, killing two policemen and injuring another.
JOHOR BAHRU: Five family members of the man who allegedly attacked the Ulu Tiram police station in Johor on May 17 have been charged separately in the Sessions Court here today.
The charges include inciting terrorism by promoting the ideology of the Islamic State (IS) militant group, Harian Metro reported this morning.
ADVERTISEMENT The accused include the father of the man involved, Radin Imran Radin Mohd Yassin, 62, and his mother, Rosna Jantan, 59, both Singaporean citizens.
Also charged are three siblings who were shot dead during the incident on May 17: Radin Romyullah Radin Imran, 34; Farhah Sobrina Radin Imran, 23; and Mariah Radin Imran, 19.
Radin Imran faces four charges, including under Section 130G (a) of the Penal Code (Act 574), for inciting terrorism by promoting the ideology of violence associated with the Islamic State (IS).
According to the newspaper, the ideology is alleged to have been propagated among all members of his family, including Radin Luqman, 21, the suspect in the Ulu Tiram Police Station attack, his wife, and their three other children.

His eldest son faces two charges, while Radin Imran's wife and two daughters each face one charge.
