Kota Kinabalu: Tabs are set to prepare teams to compete in the Borneo Cup tournament scheduled in September this year.
Its vice chairman S.A. Ramlye said the selection of players will only take place after the end of the Suparimau League currently held every weekends.

“We will prepare our teams to compete in all six categories and the selection of players will be done by coaches that are registered with us.
“Since the Borneo Cup competition will involve teams from abroad, we will try to assemble the best teams as we want to maintain our good performance achieved over the years.
“We believe this will reflect the good image of the State. However, at the moment our focus is still fully in the Suparimau League,” he said.
He added that they are planning to organise a football carnival for the Under-8, 10, 12 age groups either after the end of Suparimau or Borneo Cup competitions.

He said it is important to provide the trainees a platform to gain exposure apart from mere training every weekend under their development programme.
He also called on those interested in following their programme to contact Tabs secretary, Amsir Abdullah (012-8300469) or Suzana Bibiyantie (016-3133119).
