Kota Kinabalu: Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapha Sakmud highlighted the urgent need for swift amendments to the Sabah Labour Ordinance (SLO).
Speaking at the launch of the National Training Week (NTW) 2024 at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) here recently, he said the proposed amendments to the SLO are crucial for the welfare of workers in the State.
Mustapha’s dedication to this cause is evident as he has been actively involved in working on the Sabah Labour Ordinance.
