PETALING JAYA: A 36-year-old tattoo artist has been arrested by police after allegedly sodomising a customer during an appointment yesterday.
Petaling Jaya police chief Shahrulnizam Jaafar said the suspect was arrested yesterday and is under remand for four days to assist in the investigation.
Harian Metro quoted Shahrulnizam as saying the 24-year-old victim had gone to the tattoo parlour to get a flower pattern inked on his hand.
However, he fell unconscious halfway through the tattoo sitting. When he woke up, he realised that he was naked. He immediately left the shop but felt pain in the rectal area.
The victim then lodged a police report and sought treatment at the University Malaya Medical Centre.
The case is being investigated under Section 377B of the Penal Code for committing unnatural sex, which provides for a maximum 20-year jail term and whipping, upon conviction.
