Shell secures Sabah-based contracts

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Ltd (SSPC) has awarded two separate contracts to two companies based in Sabah.
The contract signing ceremony took place on Thursday during the opening ceremony of the Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference and Exhibition (SOGCE) at SICC.
ADVERTISEMENT It was witnessed by Sabah Minister of Finance and Chairman of state-owned SMJ Energy Sdn Bhd, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, together with Country Chair of Shell Malaysia and Senior Vice President of Upstream Malaysia, Siti Sulaiman.
One of the contracts was given to SAZMA Aviation for the provision of offshore helicopter services to safely transport personnel to and from offshore locations.
CEO of Sazma Aviation, Rodney Pinus signed on behalf of the company, while it’s Chairman Datuk Hassan A Gani Pg.Amir witnessed. Both contracts were signed by Wong Kim Mun, SSPC’s General Manager.
Also present were Datuk Bacho Pilong, Senior Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), Petronas, SOGCE Organiser, Dolly Jimayol, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SOGDC).
