SANDAKAN: The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (Mosti) hopes establishing the Creation Innovation Space (RDC) in the State will continue to boost local innovation and technology.

Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Mohammad Yusof Apdal said the RDC, one of the Ministry’s initiatives implemented by the Malaysian Innovation Foundation (YIM), provides opportunities for the people to access science, technology and innovation (STI) equipment.

He said YIM has developed 16 RDCs across Malaysia.

The Sandakan RDC began operating in February 2023 and is the first such centre developed in Sabah.
