LABUAN: Labuan Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry suggested that the authorities support the revival of the Labuan-KK-Labuan Express boat passenger services as many were missing it and the service could help further enhance marine connectivity between the two points.
Chamber Chairman Datuk Dahlif Singh said “since airlines were not interested in having additional flights to Labuan despite appeals more marine connections would help.”
The Express boat service on the route was popular before but was forced to cease operations due to low traffic when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out.
“The service is important and had been widely used before as it provided convenient non-stop link between the Jesselton Point and Labuan terminal, both located in town.
