“The State Government is committed to strengthening human capital development by providing various forms of assistance, loans, allocations and educational opportunities for people of all races, ethnicities and religions.
“Recently, I launched the Sabah Education Sponsorship Portal (PTPS) which consolidates all major education sponsors in the State into one platform.
“The PTPS is a new initiative under Sabah Maju Jaya, aimed at empowering Sabah youths, especially those pursuing higher education, through collaboration between key sponsoring bodies and educational aid providers,” he said during the Maahad Tahfiz Sulaimaniyyah Malaysia Timur 2024 Graduation Ceremony at the Sabah JKKN Complex Hall, Saturday.
Hajiji said the State Government was focused on supporting tahfiz schools and would continue to address their needs.
He encouraged Maahad Tahfiz Sulaimaniyyah Malaysia Timur students studying in Turkiye to acquire extensive knowledge and contribute to their country, nation and religion upon graduation.
“Students should be bold, creative and open to new knowledge and innovation to develop expertise in various fields.
“The Government is dedicated to the development of Islamic education in the State, which is considered a crucial effort because the knowledge gained can benefit society in multiple ways.
“This includes supporting the State’s development agenda, which requires knowledgeable and skilled human capital in various fields.
“Therefore, I urge all students studying in Turkiye to maintain a strong identity and avoid being swayed by deviant ideologies falsely presented in the name of Islam.
“I want all students to focus on their primary goal of acquiring as much knowledge as possible to contribute to their country, nation, and religion,” he said.
A total of 56 students from Maahad Tahfiz Sulaimaniyyah Timur Malaysia have been selected to continue their studies at Maahad Tahfiz Sulaimaniyyah in Turkiye.
