Kota Kinabalu: The government is in the process of appointing members to the Board of Directors of the Sabah Rice and Paddy Board (LPBS), said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan.
"The State Cabinet meeting on July 3 approved the Sabah Rice and Paddy Board Enactment draft by my Ministry together with the State Attorney General’s Department," he said during a question-and-answer session at the State Assembly sitting here on Tuesday.
Jeffrey, who is also the Agriculture, Fishery, and Food Industry Minister, said that the LPBS was established on April 26 this year, and its gazettement was published on May 23 this year.
