Kota Kinabalu: A landslide that occurred on June 30 due to continuous rain caused some 300 residents in Kampung Kolosunan, Inanam, to be stranded for nearly two weeks.
Most residents are unable to leave the village to go to Pekan Inanam, which is located about 20km away, as the connecting road to the village is impassable to vehicles.

According to a resident, Joulis Sangga, 60, there are six landslides along 2km of the route, making it impassable for various types of vehicles.
“Due to the heavy rain that occurred at the end of last month, the route connecting the residents to the town cannot be accessed by vehicles.
