KENINGAU: The Federal Government has approved the construction of four new matriculation colleges in the country, with one each in Sarawak, Terengganu, Kelantan and Kedah.
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said the allocation for Sarawak Matriculation College has been approved, while the allocation for Terengganu Matriculation College is in the process of approval.
“Two more colleges are in the process of constructing additional dormitory buildings, namely in Kelantan and Kedah.
“The additional dormitory building in Kelantan can accommodate 1,000 students, while in Kedah, 388 students,” she said when met at the Sabah Upper-Interior Zone Kenduri Rakyat Ceremony, here.
