System down: Malaysian airlines, services hit by the international IT outage so far

Kuala Lumpur: A worldwide IT disruption is causing chaos with transport services, especially airports and airlines, including in Malaysia.
Here is a list of airlines and other services that have confirmed to be affected by the Microsoft and Crowdstrike disruption so far.

Affected:
1. AirAsia - Reservation and check-in system affected. Customers may experience slower check-ins and longer queues.
2. Firefly Airlines - Booking system outage. Customers unable to book flights, manage bookings, check-in online now.
3. Rail service provider KTMB - Ticketing system and complaint channels at customer service centre affected.

4. Rail service provider KLIA Ekspres - Cannot book tickets online or using app or digital wallets. Customers must buy tickets at counters.

5. Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd said its mySESB applications and web portal both experienced a system outage.

1. Malaysia Airports says its network of airports in Malaysia are unaffected, but some airlines experiencing disruptions
