In addition, Wong said in 2020, an allocation of RM95,000 had been used for improvement and maintenance of the Sandakan Vocational College.

When it comes to skincare, the first thought on our minds would be beauty products such as serums, creams, and masks. However, beauty experts and even researchers have stated that drinking more water can be just as crucial for your skin's health.
In 2023, RM59.8 million was used for construction of the Second Sandakan Vocational College; and this year, an allocation of RM1.975 million was given to provide equipment for the Second Sandakan Vocational College.

“Furthermore, to ensure that students are highly competitive in the job market and earn a stable salary, the MoE always tries to hold meetings and discussions with industry associations.

“This is to understand the current industry needs and ensure that the vocational education matches the actual situation and the students’ jobs competitiveness.”

Wong said this when replying Sandakan MP Vivian Wong at a recent Parliament session here.

Earlier, Vivian posed a question to the Deputy Minister of Education on what measures the government will take to increase the job competitiveness of vocational college students.

If no steps were taken, she said students may no longer make vocational courses their top choice.

In the meantime, Vivian said she will continue to voice the need to improve the Sandakan Vocational College’s insufficient equipment, so students can benefit a more competitive and advanced vocational education.
