SIPITANG: The Water Department is told to explain why several villages here have been without water supply for more than nine days.
Residents, especially in the Pantai and Padang Berempah areas, have been without water supply beyond the acceptable limit.
Since last week, the residents have been trying to collect water, but the supply has not been channelled, and hence they want to know why this is happening.
“Residents are having difficulty obtaining water supply and are forced to collect rainwater for bathing and washing needs,” he said.
