Kota Kinabalu: Organisers of the 2024 Asia Triathlon Cup Kota Kinabalu and Sabah Tourism Golf Challenge are seeking the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment (KePKAS).

“The objective of this high impact international sports tourism is to promote Sabah as a premier sports tourism destination,” he said.

Liew expressed the hope that tourist arrivals (made up of visitors and families accompanying the participants) and tourism receipts generated will be the return on investment (ROI) from the two international events.
