It was previously reported that 68-year-old Tsen Kin Lin was trapped in a vehicle during the flood.
She reportedly said on that day that she had been travelling from Keningau and the weather conditions were poor, causing their vehicle to become stuck in the flood.
Tsen said she was very scared and that her legs were too weak to move.
“So I called the Penampang police station, and thankfully they arrived quickly. At that time, I did not know that the officer who carried me was the Penampang district police chief,” she said then.
