Villagers roam the road searching internet connectivity.
SIPITANG: Residents of Kampung Long Pasia are requesting the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to resolve the ongoing internet issues that have persisted for three days.
One of the residents, Jeniffer Opai, claimed that engine damage at the village’s transmission tower had cut off the internet network there.

“This situation has been occurring since April, sometimes lasting for two days, but this time, it’s longer,” she said.
“If the villagers want to access the internet, we have to walk to Long Mio Village.
“Some are willing to walk, and others use vehicles solely for Internet access.
“How long will this situation continue? This Internet problem makes it difficult for the villagers to communicate.”

She also claimed that security personnel such as the police and military are affected due to the lack of Internet connectivity.
“How can they report on the security status in this area if something untoward happens?

“The MCMC should act to resolve this issue.
“The work of teachers and health clinic staff is also disrupted for days,” she said.
