800 expected at Sabah CEO Master Class 2024 on August 8

The Sabah Young Business & Industry Leaders Network (SYBIL) and the Malaysia International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) Sabah Chapter are co-organising the event to be held at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

SYBIL Founding President Ar James Wong Kein Peng said the objective of organising this first event is to gather all the prominent business leaders and entrepreneurs to share their inputs, valuable vast experiences and how they succeeded in overcoming their ups and downs throughout their entrepreneurial journey.

He said another aim is helping to build up the capability of the businesses and industries towards a stronger Sabah Future Economy.

“This invitation-only conference that will feature 11 speakers and panellists with three imperative topics and 800 delegates including featuring a key speaker who is the founder and advisor to Berjaya Corporation Bhd, Tan Sri Vincent Tan who will share his invaluable business experiences with the audience.

“Who should attend this event? They are the business owners such as directors, principals, partners and associates, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and equivalents such as Chair, COO, CFO, Presidents, Managing Directors and C-level.

“This also includes entrepreneurs and start-ups like founders and co-founders, management level employees, executive employees being groomed for leadership roles, as well as civil servants in leadership positions and Government-Linked Companies,” he said here, recently.

James assured that those who sign up for the event would acquire invaluable lessons from the titans of businesses in various industries such as how they lead their organisations through challenges and success and the mindset required to venture into new territory.

In addition, he said each of the panellists have their own unique value and experiences that they would share to help participants on their entrepreneurial journey, giving effective tips and how to run successful organisations.
