Drugs: Foreigner nabbed in Penampang

Police called on the public to stay away from drug abuse as well as continue to be the eyes and ears of the police by chanelling information and tips to the police.
PENAMPANG: A 28-year-old foreigner was arrested for allegedly possessing syabu worth RM1,000 in a house, here, Thursday.
District Deputy Police Chief DSP Erwansyah Abdul Basir said the suspect was nabbed during a police operation at 1pm on July 25.
ADVERTISEMENT He said police found a plastic packet believed containing Syabu weighing 6.59gm.
The suspect was tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.
He said the case is investigated under Section 39A (1) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
