LPP must work with govt agencies to enhance members’ income: YB
Abdul Ghani, who is also Chairman of the Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB), hoped Sabah LPP and Nabawan PPK could be more active in organising programmes of a more practical nature to ensure that the community knows to develop their agricultural activities that can increase yield.
NABAWAN: The Sabah Farmers Organisation Authority (LPP) needs to collaborate with various agriculture-related government agencies.

Nabawan Assemblyman Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohamed Yassin said this is to diversify efforts to increase the subsistence income of each member of the Area Farmers’ Organisation (PPK), especially in Nabawan to improve the living standards or socioeconomics of the population.

He suggested the PPK through the LPP work with other government agencies that are related to agriculture to ensure that all management and aid channelled by the Government can be fully utilised for the target group.

He told reporters this after officiating the 18th Annual General Meeting of the Farmers Organisation at the Nabawan PPK Office, here.
