KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Government continuously collaborates with the State Education Department (JPN) to realise the government’s agenda of empowering, enhancing excellence, and improving the quality of education in the State.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said this cooperation is crucial as educational excellence will be a catalyst for improving the people's overall quality of life.

He said this effort includes upgrading and enhancing educational infrastructure in the State, which aligns with the State Government's commitment to developing skilled, excellent, and competitive human capital.
“Therefore, all relevant parties, including the JPN staff, educators, and parents, need to join forces and work together for the success and future of our children.
“That is why the State Government continues strengthening human capital development so that more Sabah children can further their education to the highest level and pursue the necessary skill courses.
"In this regard, we have allocated RM474.55 million this year," he said when officiating the 12th Sabah JPN Academic Excellence Recognition Ceremony (Mekar) 2024, here, Monday.
