RM2 million approved for Labuan village projects
“Since I switched my support to the Anwar-led PH government, things have started moving here,” said Suhaili.
LABUAN: Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman disclosed that RM2 million has been approved under constituency development funds for minor projects that would benefit 25 Labuan villages.

He said the approval from the PM’s office would enable him to implement road, bridge and house repairs, and other useful projects in the villages.

Prior to this, he added, he had spent RM50,000 in providing educational, health and other aids to deserving individuals.

“Since I switched my support to the Anwar-led PH government, things have started moving here,” said Suhaili.

On Bersatu’s call for a by-election in Labuan following his (Suhaili) switch of allegiance, Suhaili said:

“I am glad that Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri Johari Abdul has cleared the air and I remain as an Independent MP.

“With my status issue cleared, I can now focus on bringing more benefits to Labuan with the support of the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.”
