RANAU: All students here are called to plan what field of study they wish to pursue before continuing their education to a higher level.
Sabah Finance Minister who is also the Karanaan Assemblyman, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, said this is to prevent them from getting stuck in their environment where they are forced to follow a field they are not interested in.

“There are students who only continue their studies and are at risk of graduating without good job prospects,” he said at the 2023 Outstanding Student Awards Ceremony of Al-Irsyadiah Ranau Religious Secondary School.
Masidi added, there are too many university and college graduates who failed to get good job despite having a degree or diploma.
