Kota Kinabalu: The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) is gearing up for a heated contest for the positions of Vice President and Supreme Council members at its upcoming party congress cum election on Nov 17.
Party President Datuk Chin Su Phin confirmed the triennial congress and election at the SM Kian Kok hall at 8.30am will see central delegates from all 24 divisions across Sabah vying for leadership positions.

The election will be conducted using an electronic voting system for the first time, a move that is expected to streamline the process and ensure transparency.
The central delegates will be choosing the party president, two deputy presidents, five vice presidents and 15 Supreme Council members.
