Kota Kinabalu: Sabah FC suffered their second loss in the league with a 0-3 defeat to Kuala Lumpur City FC at the KL FA Stadium in Cheras on Wednesday.
The team without the service of Saddil Ramdani and with Darren Lok starting on the bench, were unable to cause any trouble to the home side’s goal.

To make matters worse, they were reduced to 10 men following the sending off of Rawilson Batuil for a handball incident in the 44th minute.
Although Sabah FC’s custodian Khairul Fahmi Che Mat brilliantly stopped the shot from the resulting spotkick taken by Paulo Josue, there was nothing he could do to deny the first goal in the next minute as Ko Kwang-min headed into his own net under pressure from Brandan Gan.
Darren came on in the second half to replace Park Tae-su but failed to change Sabah FC’s fortune.
Instead, it was the home side who scored their second through Paulo with a free kick in the 61st minute and they put the result beyond doubt with a Zhafri Yahya strike three minutes before full time.
