KUCHING: Dr Mohamad Tajuddin Mohamad Rasdi, Professor at UCSI University, called a National Council of Elders and Experts from different faiths, professions and experience to advise and guide Sabah and Sarawak leaders on spirituality, economy and balanced development.
Dr Mohamad Tajuddin, who serves on the Board of Governors, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, recalled a report in which the German embassy regretted a UMS student’s Nazi salute during a convocation ceremony.
Condemning the action, the embassy said it “expected the Malaysian government and university authorities to do the same.”
He said this in his presentation: “Diversity as the Mirror and Spirit of our Nation” at the second Borneo States Symposium held at the Borneo Cultures Museum, here, on July 27.
