Kota Kinabalu: The Tabin Wildlife Resort in Lahad Datu created a wildlife food programme for wild animals roaming in the Tabin Wildlife Reserve.
Its Chief Executive Officer, Lawrence Chin, said the programme, carried out in collaboration with Borneo Rhino Alliance (Bora) and started eight years ago, is beginning to see its fruits.
“We have the tourist fig tree planting programme for our Tabin tourists,” he said.
“We have planted 470 ficus plants for the fruits and more than 2.5 acres of Napier grass for the Pygmy Elephants, deer, and Tembadau.
