Kota Kinabalu: Tabin Wildlife Resort di Lahad Datu telah mewujudkan program makanan hidupan liar untuk haiwan liar yang berkeliaran di Kawasan Perlindungan Hidupan Liar Tabin.
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya, Lawrence Chin, berkata program yang dilaksanakan dengan kerjasama Borneo Rhino Alliance (Bora) dan bermula lapan tahun yang lalu, mula menunjukkan hasilnya.

“Kami mempunyai program penanaman pokok ara untuk pelancong Tabin kami,” katanya.
“Kami telah menanam 470 pokok ficus untuk buah-buahan dan lebih daripada 2.5 ekar rumput Napier untuk Gajah Pygmy, rusa, dan Tembadau.”
