SMJ development policy aligned with Malaysia Madani: CM

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said the State Government continues to move forward by upholding the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) development policy, which aligns with the spirit of the Malaysia Madani initiative.

He said that Malaysia Madani envisions Malaysia continuing to develop rapidly, playing a significant role on the global stage, and regaining its status as a respected and esteemed nation.

He said the State Government is confidently moving forward, implementing the State's direction with an emphasis on several key sectors outlined in the Hala Tuju SMJ, particularly the agriculture, industrial, and tourism sectors.

“These three sectors have boosted the State’s economy, attracting investors to Sabah and creating job opportunities for local people.
