Kota Kinabalu: Api-Api assemblywoman Datuk Christina Liew said the division of people due to politics worries her.
“This is what the opposition has brought nowadays which plays badly on racial sentiments. They try to divide the people with slanders that can create tension between races and religions.
ADVERTISEMENT “They know they cannot overthrow the government because we have support from all sides. So they created propaganda to create tension, and the effect is that tourists do not dare to come to our country and investors are not confident in the stability of our government.
“That is why we thank our friends (component parties) from the Unity Government for showing that focusing on the country is the main interest which needs to be taken care of,” she said.
In fact, Christina said Malaysia’s economy is one of the strongest in the region, in terms of tourism as every year the number of tourists increases.
“All this happened because of their confidence in the stability of our country and the importance of strengthening our nation-building country.
ADVERTISEMENT “Believe me, PKR’s play an important role in driving and strengthening Malaysia as a nation state,” she said.
In terms of politics, Christina said PKR proved that it can get along be together with other parties.

Although this program ‘Himpunan Perdana Rakyat’ is a PKR program, the main leaders of all local parties are present to give their support.
“We will make sure to continue to strengthen unity so that everything we plan for the good of Sabah and Malaysia can be achieved easily,” she said.
