BEAUFORT: Acting President of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam said the party may contest in some Muslim areas in the upcoming State election (PRN17).
He said it is still in the proposal stage and would be brought up in consultation with the leadership of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

Prior to that, Dr Joachim said the party would ensure it has members in the areas involved, including the potential of winning those seats.
“We always have a plan to add more seats but for me, we will not just ask for the seats…but we will make sure we have membership in certain divisions
