Kota Kinabalu: The Inner Wheel Club of Kota Kinabalu (IWCKK), the world’s largest women’s international organisation, celebrated its 70th anniversary and installation ceremony, last Saturday.
Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Sabin Samitah officiated the event. Also present was his wife, Datin Sri Adreen Aderizza Mohammad Soffi.

Sabin said women play a vital role in the socio-economic development of the world. They are top performers in institutions of higher learning.
Malaysia’s development plan ensures increased women’s participation in the workforce and in key decision-making positions, he said.
