NABAWAN: The entrance to Nabawan town through the roundabout will be officially closed from Aug 5 (Monday) to allow the construction of a project to upgrade the Pancuran river bridge, better known as the Nabawan River, at KM 0.20, Jalan Nabawan Township.
Monitoring of the closure is by representatives of the Nabawan State Assembly, Nabawan District Officer and Executive Officer of the Nabawan District Council and the Chief of the Nabawan Police Station.

Road users are advised to use an alternative route which is Jalan Kraftangan to Pekan Nabawan.
“We hope residents will be aware of the closure of the roundabout entrance until the construction of the bridge upgrade project is completed,” said Nabawan PWD Engineer Ahmad Fairuz Yunus.
Recently, Nabawan Assemblyman Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohamed Yassin said the more than 60-year-old wooden bridge at KM 0.20 across Sungai Nabawan near the town would be upgraded to concrete.
He said the construction of a concrete bridge worth RM2.7 million under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) allocation would be built starting this month.
