Diesel, fuel prices remain in Sabah
The Government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people.
Kuala Lumpur: The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will be reduced by five sen to RM3.30 per litre from today (Aug 8) until Aug 14.

The price of the fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, however, remains at RM2.15 per litre during the same week.

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) in a statement today said the revision to the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia to RM3.30 per litre is in line with the current moderating trend in the global crude oil market prices.

“The Government will continue to monitor market developments and adjust the diesel’s retail price based on global oil market fluctuations, whilst supporting price stability,” it said.

Meanwhile, it said the retail prices of RON97 and RON95 petrol also remain unchanged at RM3.47 and RM2.05 per litre, respectively.

The Government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people.
