A total of 87 new students registered compared to the normal intake of 80 new students.

He said the increase in PSS new students for this semester also reflected the acceptance of SPM graduates from all over Malaysia in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) skills programmes, especially agrotechnology and aquaculture technology.
The orientation week, held from July 29 to August 2, also showed the enthusiasm and commitment of students who are determined to continue their studies at PSS, he added.
“The orientation week aims to expose new students to the life and environment of PSS which is necessary for students to familiarise themselves with life at PSS where they are also introduced to their respective academic advisers,” he said in a statement on Monday.
