Kota Kinabalu: The MyJPJ application offers online transaction services, eliminating the need to visit the premises of the Road Transport Department (JPJ).
State JPJ Director Mohd Harris Ali said the application simplifies the process for people to conduct JPJ-related transactions online without visiting a JPJ office.
“MyJPJ is an innovative mobile application developed by JPJ Malaysia to provide review and display services for essential documents for drivers in the country, such as driving licences, road tax, summonses and more.
“Through this application, people no longer need to visit the JPJ office to handle tasks like renewing driving licences, road tax, and summonses, as these transactions can be easily accessed at their fingertips,” he said after paying a courtesy call to Head of State, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, at Istana Seri Kinabalu on Thursday.
He said the MyLesen programme also benefits disadvantaged individuals.
“We also informed Tun Juhar about the MyLesen programme that we are implementing. We hope it receives support from all parties, considering its benefits in improving the socio-economic status of the B40 group.

“Currently, the State JPJ is discussing with Yayasan Nur Jauhar (YNJ) to implement the MyLesen programme, which aims to provide free licences to orphans, especially in certain areas, through future discussions with YNJ,” he said.
