Kota Kinabalu: The Society of Performing Arts, KK (SPArKS) will be hosting a piano recital dubbed TAPESTRIES: Piano Recital by Sophia Lim, at the Tun Hamdan Mini Theatre, Yayasan Sabah building on the afternoon of Aug 25.

“We remain dedicated to promoting and enhancing the performing arts with our upcoming event,” said Organising Chairman, Daphne Wong.

Sophia, who has showcased her talent as a solo pianist in the United Kingdom, Spain and Malaysia, is returning to Sabah to present her skills and expertise through a workshop and recital.

Sabah born Sophia will conduct a workshop starting at 2pm to share her journey as a solo pianist, offer advice, and insights to aspiring pianists and performers.

Following the workshop at 3.30pm, she will perform pieces by Debussy, Godowsky, Schumann, and more.

Additionally, on Aug 27 and 28 (from 1pm-5pm), Sophia will host private one-on-one masterclasses at Pang Piano, here
