However, he may surprise at Class B level, bringing smiles to the faithful supporters.

His career of 21 wins out of 25 runs has been extraordinary, and he is adored by racing fans.

He will certainly go down in Kranji’s racing annals as legend.

The only foreseeable threat is likely to come from his stable mate a.k.a. heir apparent, the youthful Lim’s Saltoro.  With a remarkable record of 9 wins out of 10 runs, Lim’s Saltoro has youthful energy and is prepared for the task at hand. Golden Monkey loves racing from behind and has the engine for a superlative run in the last 200 metres.

Royal Sabah Turf Club’s Sabah Star is slated to run at Race 2 in Singapore and based on recent form, he is unlikely to contend for top places.

The returning Sabah Ace is entered for Race 8. Rested since April, he makes his awaited comeback against proven ones in Asif, So High Class and Lim’s Bighorn. Sabah Ace is a tough nut and should not be ruled out even though he is not at competitive best level yet.
