Kota Kinabalu: The Luma Hotel here announced its inclusion in the prestigious Michelin Guide’s Tablet Hotels Selection, marking a significant achievement in hospitality excellence.

The Michelin Guide, renowned worldwide for its discerning evaluations of restaurants and hotels, has selected The Luma Hotel Kota Kinabalu for its unique design concept, embracing Sabah’s nature and cultural elements, and its commitment to delivering exceptional service, unforgettable guest experiences and promoting environmental sustainability.

The hotel was earlier also awarded Asia’s Top 100 Instagrammable Hotel and Best Rising Star Hotel by Trip.Com, and The Best Fashion Design Hotel by ULife’s World Travel & Hotel Awards 2024.

The hotel opened to the public in early 2022, being the first creative design boutique hotel in Borneo, drawing inspiration from Sabah’s lush rainforest and abundance of nature. 

The hotel is also a member of the Design Hotels Selection, under the renowned Marriott International brand of hotels and resorts.
