Cobra crossing road startles motorcyclist

Kota Kinabalu: A 12-foot cobra crossing a countryside lane somewhere in Malaysia has forced a motorcyclist to an abrupt stop in a startling encounter captured on video.
The video by TikTok by user @yusmaahairi shows the motorist, who was on his way back home, explaining that he was fortunate to have escaped the trouble.

“Lucky I managed to brake, that was shocking,” he said.
He then turned his camera which shows the cobra actively crossing the road towards the grass, its length spanning the entire width of the road.
“See, you see how long it is,” said the cameraman, as he zoomed into the snake’s impressive size.

“It went so fast,” he said, tracking the snake as it disappeared into the nearby forest.
The footage sparked a mix of shock and curiosity in the comments section.

Netizens also expressed their astonishment and urged the motorist to be cautious around such dangerous wildlife.
"Does cobra usually chase people?” TikTok user @miss0rena asked.
The video uploader responded that it happens only when the cobra feels threatened.
