“Sistem kuota penting dalam komuniti di mana patriaki masih mendominasi, untuk memastikan wanita pribumi tidak diketepikan tetapi diberi peluang sama,” kata Lasimbang.
Kota Kinabalu: Wanita pribumi terpinggir sejak bergenerasi dalam pembuatan keputusan serta peranan kepimpinan dan ini mesti berubah, menurut Adun Kapayan Jannie Lasimbang.
Menggesa sistem kuota bagi menangani patriaki dan diskriminasi dalam komuniti tertentu, beliau menegaskan peranan penting wanita pribumi dalam penentuan nasib sendiri dan kepimpinan.
