Kota Kinabalu: Indigenous women have been marginalised for generations in decision-making and leadership roles and this must change, according to Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang.
Advocating for a quota system to address the deep-rooted patriarchy and discrimination within certain communities, she emphasised the pivotal role of indigenous women in self-determination and leadership.
