Kota Kinabalu: City police plan to establish an “Industry Community Security Safety” to reduce crime rates, especially cable theft cases in the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) area.

Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Kasim Muda said discussions with manufacturing companies would be held to hold collaboration for that purpose.

According to Kasim, many arrests had been made related to cable theft cases as a result of collaboration with telecommunications companies in the KKIP area.

“So I suggest that in this KKIP area we hold a collaboration with the factories where we will gather them to discuss and establish an Industry Community Security Safety.
