Pan Borneo Highway delay inexcusable: Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri
Rumors surrounding the reasons for the delay, including financial constraints, inefficiencies in the civil service, contractor incompetence and political interference, have further fuelled concerns among the public.
Kota Kinabalu: Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri (PKAN) expressed concerns over the delay in the completion of the Pan Borneo Road projects in Sabah.

Its party Deputy President Terence Tsen Kim Fatt raised questions regarding the slow progress and possible reasons behind the delay.

While acknowledging the Prime Minister’s commitment to fund and finalise the Pan Borneo Road projects in Sabah, Terence highlighted the inconvenience faced by road users due to the ongoing construction works, including the overpass bridges along Kota Kinabalu-Tuaran.

He said the prolonged delay disrupted the smooth flow of traffic and even attributed recent floods in Penampang, Inanam, Menggatal and Telipok to the ongoing Pan Borneo projects.
