Kota Kinabalu: The inaugural 2024 Malaysian Parliament and State Legislative Assembly (Dun) Secretaries’ Conference is a platform for discussing and exchanging views on best practices in managing their respective state assemblies.
Dewan Negara Secretary Muhd Sujairi Abdullah said that the two-day conference, which began on Friday, follows the Malaysian Parliament and State Legislative Assemblies Speakers’ Conference held in Langkawi, Kedah, in 2022.

He said that all Speakers of Parliament and Duns had requested the secretaries to examine the best practices that could be implemented in their respective assemblies.
Elaborating further, the conference is also in line with the progress of legislative institutions at the international level.
