PUTATAN: Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Malaysia (YaPEIM) introduced its Community Development Project (PPKY) in Sabah for the first time, focusing on economic, educational and socio-economic development in the State.
YaPEIM Board of Trustees Chairman, Datuk Mohd Radzif Mohd Yunus, said the community development project is a new initiative for Sabah, although it has been previously implemented in other states.

“This is our first project in Sabah, previously, we have conducted similar initiatives in the Federal Territories, Selangor, Johor, and Melaka.
“This programme runs for three years, during which we will conduct a study to identify areas that require intervention from YaPEIM in the aspects of education, economic development and socio-economics,” he said after attending the programme at the Dhuyufur Rahman Mosque in Kampung Lok Kawi.
