Kota Kinabalu: Buyers of Residensi Seri Akasia, an affordable housing project by K.T.I. Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KTI Landmark Berhad, received their house keys on 11 August, marking yet another significant milestone for the company.

The occasion was made even more memorable as the buyers, who purchased units in Blocks A and B, received their keys from Sabah Chief Minister YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Bin Haji Noor.

Residensi Seri Akasia is located in Tuaran, within Taman Seri Lemawang, an integrated residential and commercial development by KTI.

It consists of six blocks of 5-storey walk-up apartments, comprising a total of 480 units.

Buyers can choose between two unit sizes – 812 and 900 square feet – each offering three bedrooms, two bathrooms, wet and dry kitchens, and balconies.

Residensi Seri Akasia also offers a community park with a jogging track, a children’s playground, and professional property management services with gated and guarded security.

With only four units per floor, residents are ensured privacy and exclusivity.

“Congratulations to all the buyers of Residensi Seri Akasia. May your new homes bring peace and harmony to your families.

We would also like to express our immense gratitude to our beloved Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Bin Haji Noor for gracing our event today.

“Special thanks to the Lembaga Pembangunan Perumahan dan Bandar (LPPB) for their unwavering support.

We would also like to thank the KTI staff, consultants, contractors, and everyone who contributed to the success of Residensi Seri Akasia and Taman Seri Lemawang,” said KTI Landmark Berhad’s Chief Operating Officer, Abdullah Azlan Khalid, in his speech.

Similar to KTI’s other projects, Residensi Seri Akasia was built entirely using the Industrialised Building System (IBS) technology, a system which KTI has been synonymous with over the years.

Blocks A and B of Residensi Seri Akasia also achieved a commendable Qlassic score of 83 percent and a CIDB IBS score of 83.85 percent.

Taman Seri Lemawang is a joint venture project between KTI and the LPPB. Built on a 168-acre site, the mixed-development project includes Residensi Seri Akasia’s 480 apartment units, 811 two-storey terrace houses, and 60 shoplot units.

Approximately 73 acres of the site have been developed.

The price for apartment units at Residensi Seri Akasia starts as low as RM150,000, while terrace houses at Taman Seri Lemawang are priced from RM250,000.

KTI is also collaborating with the Unit Perumahan Penjawat Awam Malaysia (PPAM), a unit under the Prime Minister’s Department, to introduce the 17 percent Madani Incentive for civil servants in Sabah who are eligible to purchase units in Residensi Seri Akasia (Blocks E and F). KTI has previously implemented the PPAM housing programme for its Puncak Gloxinia project and will implement the same for its Taman Seraya project in Sandakan.

With more than 8,000 units of homes built under its belt, Residensi Seri Akasia is a testament to KTI’s pursuit to build and provide more affordable housing for Sabahans.
