SIPITANG: The youth need to fill their independence in the best possible way, said Sipitang Member of Parliament Datuk Matbali Musah.
The Managing Chairman of the Malaysian Cocoa Board said the youth who would inherit the leadership of this country should understand the meaning of independence and make use of it as best as possible.

“I hope all the youth will continue to think about how to do with independence.
“As we know, they are the future leaders, the ones who will shape the future of this country.
“So, we expect that the youth will continue to join hands and collaborate to ensure that they continue to cherish independence.
“We expect them not to get involved in social problems that are disturbing and cause anxiety among parents, society and leaders today.

“This is very important because they are the human capital that we need to polish and protect,” Matbali said after officiating the Sipitang District-level Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang (KMJG) at the Sipitang Esplanade which was also attended by District Officer Awang Raimy Pg Abd Rahman.
The Sabah KMJG 2024 led by Sabah Information Director Jainisah Mohd Noor now entered its fourth day after completing a journey of 320km involving 15 stops and crossing the sixth district in Kuala Penyu which was flagged off by Kuala Penyu Assemblyman Datuk Limus Jury before continuing its journey to the seventh district in Sipitang.
